Agreement
These terms govern your use of Golméa, a skincare and beauty app operated from Sweden. By using the app you accept them. If you do not, please stop using it.
Golméa is not medical advice
This is the most important thing on this page.
Golméa analyses cosmetic products against the profile you give us. It is a consumer beauty tool, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything. Its scores, verdicts and skin readings are opinions generated by software, not clinical findings.
Ingredient data comes from public databases and from reading product labels, and can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Always read the packaging, and patch test.
If you have a skin condition, a known allergy, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking prescribed treatment, speak to a doctor or pharmacist. Do not stop or start a treatment because of something this app told you. If you have a reaction to a product, stop using it and seek medical help.
Pregnancy guidance in the app is general information about ingredients commonly avoided during pregnancy. It is not tailored medical advice and must not replace your midwife or doctor.
Your account
You can use Golméa without an account. If you link an Apple ID, you are responsible for keeping access to it — it is the only way we can recognise you on a new device.
You may delete your account at any time in Settings. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Golméa.
Fair use
Please do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, extract our data in bulk, or use the app to build a competing product.
To keep costs predictable the app limits how many AI analyses each account can run per hour. If you reach that limit, it resets shortly.
Your content
What you put into Golméa — your photos, notes, conversations and product lists — remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it in order to provide the service, and for nothing else.
We keep a record of AI interactions to improve the quality of the advice, as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account deletes those records too.
Price and subscriptions
Golméa is currently free to use, and all features are available without payment.
We intend to introduce a paid plan in future. If we do, we will say clearly what it costs and what it includes before you are asked to pay, and any purchase will be handled by Apple through the App Store under Apple's billing and refund rules. Nothing you have already saved will be taken away or locked behind payment without notice.
Availability
We try to keep Golméa working, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. Features may change or be withdrawn. Because the app depends on outside services — including AI providers and public ingredient databases — parts of it can stop working for reasons beyond our control.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, or from reliance on its analysis.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under Swedish and EU law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country, and may bring proceedings there.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the current version.
